Kia ora I’m Andrew and I’m the founder of Lumina Consulting

With thirty years of experience in education across New Zealand, Australia, and the USA, I’ve dedicated my career to fostering well-being and leadership excellence. Formerly a Secondary School Principal, I now specialise in helping organisations cultivate a healthy, high-performance culture with a focus on well-being.

Lumina has partnered with schools, government departments, businesses, and sports teams to create environments where people thrive. From the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce to Microsoft, our passion lies in guiding leaders and high achievers to discover their true potential.

My personal journey has been transformative. After experiencing COVID, I lost the ability to read, write, swim, ride a bike, run, and remember. This experience, while terrifying, led to profound insights. Now, my Doctoral research focuses on helping leaders find balance and excel without burning out.

In a short time Lumina has grown pretty quickly. We now have offices in Wellington, New Plymouth and Sydney.
